American Police Involved With Operation Marvel?

Early Tuesday morning police agencies all across Canada took part in operation marvel. The operation started in May 2011 and yesterday around 900 police officers executed warrants for 60 people across the nation.

Yahoo news has now reported that the U.S. bureau of alcohol, tobacco, fire arms, and explosives took part in the investigation.

I just read some articles and the reason why american authorities are involved is because "they allege" some of the fire arms came via the USA. I myself hate police and do not want the usa involved in anything inside of canada.
