wow,that's a beautiful dog.is it a pure ridge it kinda looks like a overgrown vizsla which is my 2nd fav dog behind the ridgeback.

I used the clicker and shaped the behavior. The rag became the target.
At first, I clicked for just touching it, then moving it and then we worked for increasing the duration of the movement. He figured out how to pick it up and put it back on the table on his own. :-) Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.
