what if you have a 4 day split but your working different muscle groups differnt days, mon- back and biceps, tues- chest and triceps, wens rest, thurs-legs and biceps fri chest and triceps..

@Hendrixreborn45 if you're reaching failure past 12 reps it's time to put on some more weight man. the reason why they said 8-12 reps is because normally the first set you'd reach failure by the 12th rep, second set 10th rep, 3rd set 8th rep. but ay man it's just advice.

if for upper body you recommend between 8 to 12 reps but only 15 sets max per workout, what i would do is make each set until failure...but my question is that if my failure point exceeds 12 reps, for example doing like 50 push ups in a row or 15 reps of bench press, will i still see good results?

this is difficult with jack3d! my recovery is too quick,even on high intensity with low rep. wat shud i do with the extra energy....work my mushroom tip?
