(Set this to 720p and watch in full screen.)
Finally watched this video that has been going around.
It was very painful for me, because I know this child very well.
...It is myself at that exact age (minus the self-injury).
I'm glad I stuck it out long enough to discover that after junior high school, I would never be bullied again.
...Not only would I never be bullied, I would have hundreds and hundreds of genuine friends. And I would find all of the millions of reasons to live. 13 year old me wouldn't have believed such a life existed. But I'm grateful that it does. And I wish people (children and ADULTS alike) could find it in their hearts to put an end to this.
I found watching the live updating responses to this to be both encouraging and discouraging. Every second, there is an outpouring of uncountable messages of encouragement, littered with more ignorance. I'm hoping the encouraging messages continue to flood out the ignorant ones, and that somehow something will affect these people in a way to make them not WANT to do these things.

and say something encouraging, please.
