In this movie you see the remarkable building Centre Pompidou. In 1971 Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano, in collaboration with Ove Arup & Partners, won the international competition, for an information, entertainment and cultural centre in Paris. The Centre Pompidou was designed and built in six years, the main steel structure being erected in six months.

Paris' strategic location at a crossroads between land and river trade routes in lands of abundant agriculture had made it one of France's principal cities by the 10th century, rich with Royal palaces and demurs, wealthy Abbeys and a cathedral; by the 12th century Paris had become one of Europe's foremost centres of learning and the arts.

Leuk om terug te zien! Ik ben er zelf namelijk ook geweest! Met de Sightseeing bus door de stad gereisd, daarmee gingen we naar de Arc de Triomphe, het Louvre, de Nottre-Dame, het warenhuis en de Eiffeltoren natuurlijk! Ik ben er ook binnenin geweest! Dat was allemaal zo cool! Maar ik ga niet meer terug hoor, veel te duur en te druk! Allemaal auto's en overal moet je wachten op mensen!

Zeg nooit in Frankrijk "C'est deux" zonder de zin af te maken. Dit wordt verstaan als "Ceduc", wat ooruil betekent. Levert je geheid ruzie op, zoals Cengiz Kumru in 1990 is overkomen.
