do you get addicted to gum tho? and also is it harmful for you like smoking is? im trying cold weening and i just ran out today and im hurting but i dont want to buy another pack i may buy the gum...

@TheSigp220 the gum isnt really harmful to you. its only nicotine and nothing else. and well if your allready addicted to tobacco its pretty much the same thing. the gum comes with a alittle info packet to help you slowy go down on you depence and soon stop useing it.

if your still get a buzz from cig then your really not much of a smoker are you? i havent felt a real buzz for a long time. and also it depends there are two types, 2mg and 4mg. a cig has about .8mg of nic, and a dip has around 2-4 depending on how big the pinch is. @burtontoker

I bought the 4mg mint flavored gum from Target a few years ago, I wasn't 'really' ready to quit .. so I failed and went back to smoking. In November 2010, I was ready and I started vaping (e-cigs) and quit cigarettes the first day. Anyway, I found that old pack of nicotine gum in a closet and it's still potent, I can now see using it when my e-cigs are 'acting up' on me. I don't believe nicotine gum only would have helped me quit, but the truth is; Every cigarette you don't smoke is a victory.

@Scolova well now of days i use smokeless dip tobacco. i had a friend who had the e cig and i tryed it and it just didnt fill the same, i guess when i did smoke i like full hard flav cigs, like skydancer or winston, and i smoked deep and hard and the e cig i couldnt inhel deep and hard enough for it to feel the same

@FrostyExchange You should try the joye 510 ecig, some of the ecigs out there are really quite shitty but this ecig is cheap and you can buy thousands of different flavours of liquid pretty cheap, the throat hit is awsome and feels just like a real cigarette and personally i now find the taste to be better and with a high nicotine content you can get a much better throat hit than even a real cigarette :)

Thanks for the review. After 27 yrs. of smoking I'm giving the gum a try. Use vape for MJ and it works great do not use tobacco in a vape it sucks. I wish I would have been smart enough to quit smoking when I was your age. Fight the good fight.

Im using the 4mg, orange flavour gum. I dont find it tastes that bad, maybe after awhile of chewing it after it loses all flavour. It works for me. I smoked a pack aday for the past 15yrs. I have been smoke free for 2 weeks using gum only and I find that even now I use less gum then before. It helps me fight the fight i had with myself( and still sometimes have) about going to the store and buying it. Next week. 2mg gum, and the week after regular gum, then its over!
