A Medley to promote their 'Jamboree Bag No. 3' album in 1985.

Songs featured are:

I'm A Rocker
I'm Ready
I Wonder In Who's Arms...
Bye Bye Johnny
I Feel So Fine
I'm A Rocker

Despite their immense popularity, Chas & Dave are very poorly represented via YouTube. I have around 20 hours of footage (mainly from their 1979-1987 commercial & creative peak) so I've started this channel to share some of these classic performances. I'm always looking for more Chas & Dave footage (or upgrades of videos I already have), so if you have anything & feel like trading then please get in touch! Also let me know if there are any particular songs that you're after & I'll see if I can help. Please note this channel is not officially sanctioned by Chas & Dave, & any infringement of copyrights is unintentional; my sole aim is to promote their music to a wider audience.

See my blog for an in-depth review of Chas & Dave's classic albums (& how to buy them on official CDs):

  • is there any video with his son on drums, I'd love to see it? Gary

  • @mollymitch1 I don't think there's any TV / professional footage yet, but all the amateur clips on YouTube from this year's tour feature him.

  • who is that drummer? He is good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bernardballbag Mickey Burt. He was with Chas & Dave almost from the beginning (1977) up until about 18 months ago when he retired due to ill health. Chas & Dave's drummer now is Chas' son Nicholas (taught drums by Mickey Burt).

  • I love this music and them....!!!

  • Greatest TNX !!!

  • Cheers for the info archie,My dear old Dad was a drummer and I tend to really listen to Drummers and what they add to a recording....and I can tell you Mickey is top Draw. I saw Chas's band at a venue in my local town a few months ago and of course I thoroughly enjoyed them, but alas with out Dave and Mickey it was'nt quite the same.

  • @bernardballbag Mick Burt goes back even further with Chas Hodges - they were both members of the Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers and they had a top ten hit in 1966 with 'Got to get you into my life.' Oddly enough, Chas was the bass player in the Rebel Rousers before he switched to piano in Chas and Dave.

  • I'd bet you and me aren't the only hairy arsed northeners who love this stuff , Bernard?

  • @MrStablelad Both: it's a stage in the pub that they owned for a while in the 80s.
