My God... They could've been HEROES (not just for one day).

Why is there a need to leave your seat unless it's the end of the performance? It's not really the kind of music that makes you get up and flail around in my opinion.

well said trysometruth, & not only that, but also that they themselves love what they created just as much as we do. So they can get into it each & every time they play. It puts them in the same good place it puts us.

So true. When artists are mega-successful, in a way they create their own personal hell. What then separates some from others is this elusive thing called "professionalism". Some artists go crawl in a cave or state they'll never do the "old stuff'. Others keep going back to the well to find the inspiration to try to make it new for themselves even after the 10,000th performance of something. And, absolutely, part of that is having respect for the good fortune they have to be loved by strangers.

I wonder how many times David Gilmour has sung (or played) this song? I love it, but, I can't imagine having to perform this over and over. That's speaks to the dedication to his fans.
