Thumbs up if you're listening to this in 2012. :)
-
what is the name of the song the background so to speak
-
@Jmjager1 Bebop did not begin in 1920. Not at all. Some boppers might have been inspired by some musicians of the 1920's though.
-
@Exilatus Well Bebop began in 1920. Other Jazz was big in 1930-1950's
-
Oh damn
-
Care to explain, how remixing a song is disrespectful? I think it's quite the opposite, if i remix a song i do it because it's a great song in the first place. It's like an homage to the song.
Stop wearing the nostalgia-glasses^^

Because it sounds awesome?
And it's not like the original version suddenly disappeared and you can only listen to this, right?
-
Not 20's or 50's. 1936, Louis Prima and Benny Goodman.
-
I suddenly felt like i was in the jungle book in the beginning, then i felt robot-y.

Anybody knows if there is an electroswing remake of the Andrew Sisters?I think "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B" might be kinda badass
@pg40987 1950 ? Are you kidding me ? Sing sing sing with a swing is considered as the most emblematic song of the Swing era, which took place from (approximately) 1925 to 1945. And the song itself was written in 1936.
1950, in jazz, is bebop.
So PLEASE, before saying such a thing, try to check that what you gonna say is true.
