Cyanide is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of "Cadwallon: City of Thieves" for iPad. Developed in collaboration with Elven Studio and Phuong Hoang Enix, it is a true mobile version of the original board game of the same name.
Cadwallon: City of Thieves is a strategy game designed by Laurent Pouchain and Pascal Bernard, based on the "Confrontation" IP. It is set in the free city of Cadwallon, which is home to a mixed bag of vagabonds, deserters, and outlaws. As a member of the guild of thieves, the player must loot the city to make a fortune, or die trying.
Cyanide's aim was to marry the possibilities of the iPad with the spirit of the original board game to bring a new vision to Cadwallon: City of Thieves. The resulting gameplay means that beginners can quickly understand the rules. Mobility and ease of use allows the player to take the game wherever he goes, sharing the experience (on the same iPad) with up to three other people.
This iPad version of the game will plunge the player, on a 3D voyage, deep into the sights and sounds of the city of Cadwallon.
Cadwallon: City of Thieves will soon be available on the AppStore.
