yeah i've heard good things about union but i don't have a boat..i've duck hunted there though..i saw a picture from there, a guy last year i think, caught a 10.14lb bass there..i was just at parvins today but no luck..threw a chatter bait & then a ratltrap but nothin..oh well

10-14 is state record.. so im not too sure bout that.. but ive seen 8s out of there.. i went again today to a small pond.. got 4 using cranks and grubs..

sweet.. i'd like to get up more northern jersey fishing this summer.. isn't anything great around here..parvins is overrated, union, & some other spots..i'd like to go to mercer, hopactong, & so on if i can

mercer is good. but hard sometimes.. my buddy got close to a 8lber there last year.. hopatcong is pretty nice but in the summer there are tons of boats and jet skis so it is a zoo.. merril creek is a nice place.. great smallies and largemouth... parvin is nice but gets lots of pressure so its not as good. its same with newton, as soon as they put in the new ramp, the fish got so much pressure and smartened up. union is tough but good during spring.. there are some big fish in there.

i fish in clementes rock quarry in carneys point. its real deep in spots and crystal clear. most of the fish in there are 3lbs and up i caught a 6 pounder in there. i also fish at laytons lake down the road from clementes(its a private lake) you need to know someone to fish there i caught a 5 pounder in there but most of the bass average 3.5 lbs.

where r u fishing, i live in nj and i catch an occasional 3 pounder but nothing like that

I fish merrill creek res. all the time, never got anything too big there. hooked up with a big one once but he snapped my six pound test. Whats the biggest you ever got there?

@EnjoiEmerica83 man 10.14 came close to a ten pounder once jumped it was like 2 feet long and it through the hook later that day i lost another one about 8

south jersey has 8 lb ive caught 3 of them and a bunch of 3-6 lbs mostly its 1-2 lb.
