Demo of another Reaktor granulator instrument I'm building called Tukuramu. This one is still quite early stage (and you even get some live patching!) but shaping up nicely.
It's another sampler but I'm thinking more about potential live situations so where Novaphone was all about random looping, Tukuramu is about slicing & envelope strategy.
In this demo I don't show much of the slice sequencer part but mainly the envelope controller which drives the main granular parameters. Each envelope can be stepped either with the slice or the current sequencer position. The sequencer can do from 4 to 32 slices.
I'm debating whether the filter cutoff and resonance are better as separate controls (which gives easier access to tinker) or envelopes (which gives better sound shaping options). That's why the jitter controls are still knobs so you can run most of the changes with the envelope but quickly add some spice with the jitter knobs.
UI is still a major work in progress. I'm not sure if I'll face plate it like Novaphone because that was a lot of work but it will definitely look better than this :)
When things are a bit more complete I'll do a proper demo and show what the slice sequencer can do as well.
p.s. Novaphone 340 should be released this weekend!
