is anyone else slightly/entirely scared of this kind of creature?! that shits makin me trip balls deep!
-
Do you still have him? He's pretty! How much bigger has he gotten?

@sazama420 There is no need for coralline algae in an octopus tank.
-
let it goo to the sea or something. it doesnt want to be traped!
-
also cephalops only live about a couple months to just over a year!!! with the exception of the giant pacific octopus which comes from cold oxygen rich waters...your best bet is dont buy one!!!

Mimic octopus don't make good pets at all they require a tank of at least 150 gallons!!! your better off with a bimaculoides or bimaculatus..common name california 2 spot octopus...its not nocturnal and its pretty and doesn't get very big still pygmy octopus require at least 50 gallons!! you CAN NOT keep corals in the same tank because of the high amount of waste the octopus will produce as he or she will require at least 2 crabs or shrimp a day!!!

Cool octopus and tank, however you should add more live rock and coral for the octopus to hid in...
Plus, the coral adds beauty to the tank.
