well you obviously know more than i do. i'm not a boxing nut but have seen espn classics of both enough to make that decision, but hell what do i know. you had ali with his speed and stamina, making half his opponents punch out, but if ali got caught in tyson's flurries, who knows?

LA Times Oct 31 1970: he opined that Ali was not better than Jack Johnson or Jess Willard (!!) and also predicted that Ali would lose the upcoming Frazier fight. He called Ali "mediocre" in an old Ring Magazine which I don't have to hand. You can find loads of similar quotes in newspapers from that time.
