As part of a sudden announcement, we hear Betty Davis will no longer be working at The Weather Channel. Kelly Cass, Heather Tesch, and Carl Parker all come in to say their goodbyes.

I don't even bother with TWC anymore. NBC-U basically turned it into an entertainment channel. Now, If i want a local forcast, I support my local TV stations instead.

Holy crap! Another great weather girl bites the dust! They have indeed gotten rid of all the people who put TWC on the tv map...Dave Schwartz, Melissa Barrington, Sharon Resultan, and my favorite, Lisa "Sexy Legs" Mozer....what a shame! They seem to be hiring these idiots, like Abrams. Profits over sensibility...Times are changing. Kelly Cass is hot too!! She and Betty were an awesome team! Good Luck, Betty!

I believe the Weather Channel is being run by a bunch of old ugly feminist women who don't want to see sexy, beautiful women giving the weather forecasts on their channel...because think about it? Every sexy, beautiful weather girl they had, they got rid of them.

I miss watching Betty Davis, she was very informative and entertaining to watch. TWC is awful now, I rarely even turn to the channel. They got rid of too many good personalities. I hope she found a better job, She is so beautiful that smile and those pretty legs is definitely missed

I knew the channel was doomed the second the buyout was announced. Five minutes later they fired my favorite, Dave Schwartz, and others soon followed. I wondered where Betty was. I hoped she was on vacation or had moved to another time slot. Finally, it became apparent she had been replaced. What a shame. She was an excellent commentator, very professional, cheerful, and beautiful. TWC sucks now. I hate that screechbag idiot Abrams, and Roker is a tool. Too much sports too. Eff NB CORPORATION!

What the fuck is wrong with the execs at TWC?? First they get rid of great veterans like Schwartz, Resultan, Johnson, Abernathy, etc..now they get rid of more..Davis, Keneely, etc. They leave three worst.. Roker who is not a weatherman. Cantore who exaggerates everything. Makes a little shower look like a cat 5 hurricane loves to scare people..and that ultra clown Abrams! I guess Paul Goodloe is next since they threw him third shift and they are making a mockery out of legendary Bryan Norcross!

Seems like the old faces are slowly being replaced with the new, since the NBC-Universal buyout. TWC has gone "corporate" with too much glitz and "features". The handwriting was on the wall when they brought Al Roker over.
