For sale is my black 1972 Dodge Dart

HAS:

Professionally built 318. Bored .40 over and balanced by the highly reputable City Motor Supply in San Antonio 500 miles ago
Edlebrock performance aluminum intake manifold
Holley four-barrel 650 cfm carb
Recently rebuilt 904 3-speed auto trans, done by Brinkater Transmission in New Braunfels 500 miles ago
3.23 gears that will easily smoke your tires
New high-temp radiator
New chrome American Racing wheels and Cooper Cobra tired with about 70% tread left
9 inch drum brakes all around, recently went through them and replaced the worn pads
Front suspension has been all rebuilt
Floorplan is new and does not leak or have any rust
Spent 600 dollars on exhaust, Hooker Competition Headers, 2.5 dual exhaust pipes running through new flowmaster mufflers
All gages (excluding the speedo) work perfectly, has aftermarket oil pressure gage
New Sony Xpload stereo system with new speakers, sounds great

NEEDS:
New headliner
Speedometer doesn't work, most likely needs cable replaced
Trunk pan is rusted, a few small pinholes but still works and doesn't leak
Small areas of rust in the rear quarter panels, typical of cars this age
no ac

This car is my daily driver to and from work, it is mechanically sound and the rebuilt engine provides more than enough power to smoke the tires and zoom around town. The black paint job is about three years old and is a great 20 footer, there are a few nicks and dings but nothing too noticeable unless given an up close inspection. The sound of this car is that perfect, low, muscle car rumble, definitely sounds like a car you don't want to mess with at the stoplight. This car is a magnet at the gas pumps, the older folks who remember this classic will come talk to you about all their old cars. The dash and dash pad is a little worn and could use a little sprucing up along with replacing the headliner would make the interior very nice looking. All in all this is a good car for someone who doesn't want to spend big bucks restoring an old classic mopar musclecar, doesn't need any work to be your daily driver or could be a fun weekend cruiser.

test drives with cash in hand

would be willing to trade car and cash for a 77 and earlier c3 corvette

  • Finally a decent burnout, spins just enuff to get up on the cam, spinning aint winning, and if you can power brake a burnout it means your rearbrakes are out of adjusment or worse, non existent, just nailed the throttle and she left perfect, needs a lot of tlc, but dont they all if you drivem, i love it, is it still for sale??? prob not, good looking mopar and could be damn fine!!!
