  • This is such a sad rehash of a truly classic track, with none of the energy, vibe, fusion and story telling of the original that I am so sad I clicked on the link to listen to it. Fantastic quality, and I can't fault the musicianship, but the Pursuit of Accidents is a classic track that is almost being parodied here.

Please listen to the recording with the original band instead.

That is energy; this version sounds like going through the motions.

  • gary husband on keyb. is AMAZING!!!! Great solo!!!

  • Eeeh... it reminds me of the old BBC Test Card muzak. If only they had a young lass (Carole Hersee) fronting the band whilst playing noughts and crosses against Bubbles the clown doll, the illusion would be complete!

  • lovely stuff. shame the mix doesnt bring out the drums a bit more. Apart from that a pure pleasure to watch/listen to.

  • Absolutely fantastic, nothing Mark does is second rate..love his playing......gary Husband...oh yeah!

  • Le Génie et la Soul sont réunis on est suspendus ..

  • @presidentsherman ;He is a very different drummer ,not superior. At the level these guys play at ,they are all great !.

  • @76alembic Yes, better keyboard player than I thought he was.

However, Pete Ray Biggin is far superior on the drums. I saw L42 here in L.A. last year and he was off the hook on the kit.

  • I was at this gig. The FOH mix was nothing like this vid. The bass was high as it should be. The tone on this vid is nothing like the live tone I heard. This sounds flat and dull. The live tone was classic Mark King,, deep, bright chorus sounding E and A strings and Very transparent highs.
