Yes thats true but you can never be sure if they break the law. People do break the law every day so it wouldnt be unusual.

I had a time an e-mail connection in a x internet company, one day i couldnt remember how to set it up so i called them and asked how i set it up. I told them my email-address but said im not sure about my password- he replied oh you mean, and then he told me my password which i didnt know they had. Just to tell you how easy it is.

internet companies dont keep record of your web history. and besides if they did it would be highly illegal to give out or even view that info due to the internet privacy act.
