This is short video of the premiere rehearsed reading of Puck of the Estate which was read to an audience of students from our partner schools on Thursday 1st July.
The play is about a community, a micro-society. It is about the people who live in that community, one which would often be regarded as disadvantaged. It is about characters who are usually glimpsed only in parks or on the streets and who are often avoided or stereotyped. However, it also reminds us that communities are always made up of individuals with their own dreams and aspirations.
For the premiere rehearsed reading we worked with six Box Clever actors and seven non-professional actors from the Urban Arts Group, based at the egg, Bath Theatre Royal
