Question- What part of Michigan are you from? Im a Michigander (Lol!!)& am glad you are doing vids on Vista b/c Im in the process of applying 4the program...Im excited and scared sh*tless too!.I dont wanna be homeless doing this ya know? @trinidad718 now you can go to college during your year of service, so yes you can as long as the supervisor knows about it.

I was a VISTA in Ketchikan from 11/98-11/99, doing adult education for SERRC. I loved the scenery and people, but the February darkness was a bit too much.

that was my experience with the folks up there also , I was in Craig in 83/84 .I have fond memories of the characters that I lived ,worked and met , people from all over the world ,all colors ,creeds ,and faiths
