i listened to this song while i was suffering of child abuse when i was 12, this song helped me get through, i mean, this isnt the best song in the world but it helped me get through, now im happpy with my loving mother and i know i'm not useless

@bluegold1014 im in seventh grade right now, my dad(a pastor) had an affair with the childrens pastor, who was also my moms best friend. i started cutting, having extreme suicidal thoughts, etc. i thought i was useless. like, it was my fault that everything happened. this was when i was 8! this song helped me ALOT through that whole ordeal. lol, now im 13. and still can't get enough of it.

Relient K came out with MMHMM in 2004, during my seventh grade year. I was dealing with pretty heavy self-esteem issues (as most thirteen-year-olds do) and the fact that this song came into my life at that point is something that I consider nothing short of God's providence. This song saved me from falling into dangerous territory so many times in my life, and even now, when I listen to it at twenty years of age, it never fails to lift my spirit.
