Not so technically, West Africans ran the West African slave trade (with them being the hunters, gatherers of slaves and Europeans the buyers, redistributioners)

And also not so technicaly, West Africans ran the West African slave trade before any Europeans set foot in West Africa. Enslaving conquered tribes was common practice.

American's stand on their own (that is what made this country great) and everyone or every color, etc. can make their life whatever their skills, education and talent will allow. You can't go far when you don't speak well and can't read.

My little cousins don't have enough books for their class. "Work hard"? The economic system is a lie. The credit system is a scam. We should work hard, but not for you. I would disagree with Mr. Salahuddin; because I believe the root cause of problems in the black community are that they are taught to hate what it means to be an American (not African). Stay in school... work hard... dream big... and you are free to go after those dreams! America wants everyone to succeed!!!
