Not sure how people are going to take this video but whether we like it are not we are always going to have people bringing down the name of the mobile disco. What can we do to help? What can we say without insulting people? How about introducing them to the dj tutor community. I don't mean to insult anyone in this video.

  • Youre attitude seems spot on concerning youre mobile set up but don't get to hung up on the poor service of other providers if you keep improveing youre service and do youre best you will soon build up a good rep for yourself

if youre running the latest lighting or a laser show state that on youre website pictures of youre eqipment and brag what you got people will soon get the idea that you are pro and hire you

  • Youre appsolutely right there, thanks for the comment. I have pictures and videos of the lighting and lasers on the site so people no what their getting.

  • i charge £150 for budget setup which includes 4 lights and 2 speakers then meduim £200 and large £250 and wedding £400-500

  • The prices change depending on what area of the uk you live in. Those prices seem aobut right but you dont seem to have that much setup

  • yh try and make i easy to setup e.g the stand with the 2 t-bars and take led lights and lasers and bigger gigs diferent stuff

  • Yer well £130 sounds about right then for the setup you have :)

  • I have asked a few and I have been getting £150, £180, £200 and £250, for small setups so putting so I think where I am might be ok.

  • I charge £130 for four hours for both lighting and sound. I would say keep your prices at that but you do need to add more to your setup as it isnt much for £130 but its not just about the setup. There is the setup time, disel and money for people that help you out. If i was you i would ring around other djs in the area and see what they charge, pretend you are a customer looking for a price. Hope this helps :)

  • What would you call a fair price to charge for a four hours? You can see my video on my channel of what I got, what do you think would be fair. So far I have done £110 for 4 hours just sound system and then £130 for 4 hours with lighting and sound. What do you think of my price?

  • Yer your right i see what your saying, thanks for the comment :)
