Not my lyrics! This is a shout-out to GodlessWonder's amazing parody of the likewise amazing song from Portal. I sure hope the songs in Portal 2 are as cool. If they hired Jonathan Coulton again, they will be! But according to religious nuts in Texas, the world will end in a few days, before I get to find out ;-)
This song refers to the Kitzmiller v. Dover trial in Pennsylvania, in which a school board tried to sneak creationism into the classroom and (thankfully) failed. Here's a Nova special about it. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/evolution/intelligent-design-trial.html

I don't know why whoever wrote this mentioned Ken Miller's debunking of irreducible complexity, and then said no God needed. It doesn't make sense because Ken Miller believes that God exists, and he is a theistic evolutionist.

@DylanM821 - I think Ken Miller is in the lyrics because he was a pivotal player in the Dover v. Kitzmiller trial. Also, his theistic evolution stance is very helpful to trot out against creationists who say that evolution is necessarily a godless and demoralizing, anti-religion theory.

Apes are quite comfortable in how they walk just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. There's no hard evidence that humans evolved from an ape-like creature anymore than there's hard evidence that apes evolved from a four-legged dog-like creature. @Mogley52 - If you want HARD evidence, are fossils hard enough for you?
Australopithecus afarensis
Australopithecus sediba - New!
Homo erectus
etc!
Not good enough? Well how about DNA? Endogenuous retroviruses are pretty compelling.
I may have time to read your article, but generally I focus on science from scientists, not editorials.
