@peckinpah303 Well, I wasn't making a statement as to how faithful the audio was. I was saying that the distortion gave the music an edge and organic quality that it would lack without it. It'd be curious the hear the cleaned up version though.

@wlmason73 Well, since *I* (Linus/TRSI) composed the music I know what it should sound like ,) The filter range is just wrong on the old chip. Going to upload a decent version soon.

If you're referring to the distorted nature of the audio I'd have to disagree. I think it gives it a cool 'modern' edge, and it wouldn't sound as cool if it wasn't for the distortion. It sounds almost like a modern techno track. I think the music is outstanding.

A pitty you did not use a 8580 soundchip because that´s what I did the music for :) this 6581 version sounds crippled, a pitty.
