Multiple sclerosis (MS) isn't fully understood, but many believe it's an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, or CNS. The CNS includes the brain, the spinal cord, and the optic nerves, and it's surrounded by a fatty tissue called myelin that protects the nerve fibers and helps them conduct electrical impulses. http://jointhemovement.org/

  • Great organization. I was diagnosed in 1990! I found a lot of help with The National M.S. society!

  • Do you happen to have a multiple sclerosis psa about a woman being chained?

  • Wonderful video with a fantastic message!

  • No. That's why I need someone to upload it.

  • Do you know anyone else who might have that psa?

  • AFAIK, here are the lines from that PSA:

    January, you go blind.

March, you can see again, but you can't walk.

August, you can walk again, but you can't hold your child.

December, you hands are working, so you pray.

    Multiple Sclerosis stops people.

I can't remember the next line.

    Help us find the answer.

  • I remember another National MS Society PSA back in '95, or is it '96. It had a woman being chained, while another talked about Multiple Sclerosis off-screen. I wish someone could upload that.
