@factsonlyplease1 selva is a very established italian marine company. they used to be OEM manufaturer for evinrude. now they are OEM for yamaha. their engines are basically same as yamaha. only selva used more plastic components than cast iron. some pros and cons as with every brand.

selva is owned by selva, yamaha, yanmar, they manufactured evinrude for 10 years

@factsonlyplease1 It is a company from Italy, I don't think that they are so famous since everyone prefers Yamaha, Mercury, Evinrude or other better brands
