Daily Show gets Cheney & Google Earth story WRONG

Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's Daily Show, erroneously reports that U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney had his house removed from Google Earth. Michael Jones, Chief Technologist for Google Earth, confides with search marketing specialist Grant Crowell that the story "has no truth whatsoever." The Daily Show fell for the internet hoax, using fake news to make its own fake news.

By law, satire is only a defense if no reasonable person could BELIEVE it; otherwise it's DEFAMATION.

Here, Stewart was presenting it as FACT, since it IS something that's reasonable to believe.

This is why The Daily Show has the world's dumbest audience-- not only do they believe his lies and strawman arguments, they DEFEND them when found out.

And Fox News was never called the least truthful. Maybe you are mildly retarded? Also Fox has many shows that are opinion and plenty of left wingers who also may make mistakes.
