The best part of this is, even though ference isn't the biggest fighter, he would do the same with mcquad or anyone else on the team

@prodigy2k7 fighting in hockey has purpose, majority of the time, like this instance, fighting helps curb bad hits and penalties. Yes they do fight to gain momentum for their team, which inspires their teammates. so what adam mcquaid did, defending his defensive partner was not only a good choice of action, it was the commendable one.
