  • What permissions ?

    And from whom ?

We had asked the Kulem Staton master to let us aboard the locos, but we were denied .... so had to trek the falls ...

  • @azeroth666s Station Master at Kulem is not authorized to issue permission. You need to approach the CPRO of SWR at Bangalore and they will guide you regarding the steps to be taken.

  • Super!! where does the line go to? Goa?

  • This ghat is on the line from Madgaon to Hubli

  • @karand87

    Hi Karan.

Can u tell me how far is this Falls from Madgaon like if 8048 departs from VAsco at 730 when it is likely to reach Dudhsagar Falls.

  • @sabya11377 If a train departs from Vasco at 07:30am, it will reach Kulem by around 9:00am and cross the Dudhsagar falls sometime around 9:30am.

    Thanks !

    Will try that !

  • i went to goa last year but could not go to dudhsagar falls. my most cherished dream remains unfulfilled

  • I wish to travel on this route some day. The scenic beauty of the stretch is simply awesome. Would even be better, if we get a ride in the loco...Let us hope for the best!

  • Hi. Why 5? and that too WDG4s? I am just curious, so if you know, then please share. I presume, since you got on the loco, you must have managed to ask the loco pilot out of your curiosity as well. Also, I have seen trains dispatched with only 2 WDM2s at the rear end and one leading the train. And for most purposes, I thought that this was sufficient, unless I am mistaken. Please correct me.

  • OMG! FIVE!! :O Thats awesome! thanks for the info..:)
