I'm using a boss rc-20xl loop station. I got it used from guitar center for $200, they retail for $250.
They have one for $180 used. They are great for practice, you can practice solo's over simple chord progression. you can also hook up a cd player or mp3 player to it and store it, then slow it down to learn guitar parts at a slower pace.
They are awesome
