This rendition of Yismechu was composed by Robbie Solomon, the fabulous tenor from Safam, that amazing Jewish-American band from Boston. Any active Jew of the 90's should be familiar with Safam. (I know they were a HUGE part of my childhood.)

This was recording at Rodef Shalom Congregation (in the Levy Hall) on the Shabbat morning of December 27, 2008. The soloist is David Fair.

Translation:
Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in Your deliverance. All who make the seventh day holy shall be gladdened by Your goodness. This day is Israel's festival of the spirit, sanctified and blessed by You, the most precious of days, a symbol of the joy of creation.

The high note at the end is an F# above high C
