learning to barrel race on a non-barrel horse

me on the litte mustang again, same day just the first run, we missed a barell completly but he only bucked like once and it was small. we werent going for speed, its more of like teaching him to do this, and ive never taught a horse before soooo its fun:) also, he wouldnt turn very sharply either, so our turns, especially the last one, are wide...but on a good day he turns super sharply like hes been doin it his whole life :)
