@vampbloodwine True. Mana, Teru, Kamijo, Hizaki, all these guys are pretty and look like girls, but are somehow 100% males. Not like the emo-guys who arent that pretty and are very girlish.

The visuals are like an added bonus. It's an artistic expression. People who think many visual kei bands are all visual and no sound are really silly. Art is subjective, so is music, just because you love Versailles (or not) you shouldn't go around bashing. I love Versailles but I'm actually more inclined to progressive sounds rather than metal sounds. To each his/her own just no dissing.

@yogsothoth2099 i think every fanbase has its group of obbsessive idiots ... the j-rock/pop/metal music is no different. we have some pretty big ones. but also like every fanbase we have the sensible ppl aswell. i like anything ... if ii sounds good i'll listen to it ... the vids r just a bonus ;) i listen to everything from this all the way to Dir en grey ....if u dont know them they started of dressing like this but not as lively music ... now they moved onto their hardcore stuff

@Talarox they dig more visual kei than lets say progressive or power metal because of the look and the fact that they are japanese,but i will give you that, versailles its way better than this stuff.Japanaholics are like religious people, blind folded by their devotion.
