This rocket stove will be used to heat our winter greenhouse. This is our first attempt at building a rocket stove and at a heated winter greenhouse.

  • Actually, I didn't have to reload it that often. The vertical orientation of the fuel tube allows for longer peices of wood that would burn down. It would go out before I woke up for the morning, but the thermal mass in the greenhouse(cob, cinder blocks, barrel of water etc..) kept it at an acceptable temp. I did have fresh tomatoes at christmas. Thanks for the comment.

  • All looks good except for one thing.......who's going to be loading the stove every half hour all night long?..Rocket stove are great except they require constant loading!

  • Will you be doing a follow-up video to show how it worked out and the placement in the greenhouse?

  • I have looked at many videos on Youtube regarding rocket stoves, and yours makes a lot of sense. I would like to come look at your set up, and I'm in OKC. rferrell1@hotmail.com I want to do a rocket/cob stove in my ecohut. Hope to hear from you.

  • Where do you get the cob material? If you're in OKC, a local place would be great!
