Northwestern Wildcats Basketball vs. Indiana Hoosiers - 1/28/09

The Northwestern Wildcats picked up their third Big Ten win with a 77-75 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers. Craig Moore finished with 21 points and Kevin Coble's 19 helped him pass the 1,000 point milestone in his career. Michael Thompson had 15 and Jeremy Nash finished with 10 points off the bench.

Northwestern is for sure in the right direction with its program, slowly trying to crawl into earning an at-large bid to the tournament. They just need to fight better in recruiting better players to come there. Same with Penn State and Michigan. Most of the high school players worthy of going to a Big Ten school mostly choose Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
