  • @MrChemanfu

you are right you should not ever have you palms facing up.

  • She is doing all of these postures incorrectly just so everyone knows.

  • @paragate Just standing passive and mindlessly still in various poses, and that 's what I see, is ridicules. Real I Chuan standing Is very alive with the nerve system highly activated through mental induction, especially in combat standing. But you kind of people, who usually learned some Tai Chi or Yoga etc, will always say ; "No we don't do for fighting only for health". This is degrading the internal arts, which are fighting arts and in this case especially I Chuan.

  • It is always people who use the term "Yiquan standing meditation" who haven't got a clue what Yiquan is about. The term meditation is a western connotation. The term Zhan Zhuang ( standing pole) is the proper word to use. It is used to emphasize the promotion of health and the development of Hunyuanli ( instinctive force) through health and combat standing. I've never heard or read about from my Chinese teachers using the term meditation. It's a big fallacy!

  • nicely done. I've learned that the central position must not be done with the palms of the hands looking up
