Developers team
At the team selection screen in Exhibition mode, press LT until the Madden Developers team appears. Once selected, the team will always appear at the selection screen. The players on the team all have perfect ratings.
Gatorade celebration
During the final thirty seconds of a game, press LT + RT + click Left Analog-stick + click Right Analog-stick. When the game is over, your players will dump Gatorade on the coach.
Getting first draft pick
Start your franchise, and turn off the trade deadline. Complete the regular season. Regardless of whether you made the playoffs, in the wild card round of the playoffs, trade your first round pick, your third round pick, and your sixth round pick to the team that finished with the worst record for their first round pick, second round pick, and third round pick.
Better scouting and drafting
When scouting and drafting, sort each position by potential. Make sure the round projections are higher than if you wanted to sort again. Make a note of the players' names in the order for each position. When drafting or scouting, the higher the player is on the board, the more likely he will be a good pick.
Recommended Franchise mode players
It is recommended you try to obtain the following players in Franchise mode:
Marcus Stroud: Turn him into a DT. He will be rated 87 at first and eventually drop to 81.
Shaun O'Hara: Obtain as a free agent, and place him in any position. He will be rated 90.
