Sabres Islanders Yashin Gives Up Stick

This was shot at Game 5 of the 2007 Sabres Islanders playoffs. As the Islanders were coming off the ice after the handshakes, Alexei Yashin hands me his stick. I was heckling him earlier in the game about his $7 million salary. Take note of the grin he has when he hands me the stick. Also, you can almost read his mind before he looks up at me. It's as though he says to himself..."oh yeah, I'll give this to the ball-breaker." It was a class act by a once great player. Plus he made me feel guilty for busting on him all night. Thanks Yash!
