  • what u planting

  • ploughed up in June to plant wheat in october- heavy clay land which is best if it drys right out before planting laterin the year

  • I like the moldboard plow, but face it, aren't they all out of date and a waste of time and energy? I can remember what a pain it was to replace the shares and I only had a 6x16 semi-mounted Case back in the late 60's

  • They still have their uses, we use min till alot of the time, but plough for certain reasons to do with weed control and for creating a certain type of seedbed. Technology has halved or even quatered the time taken to change wearing parts many of the so called 1 pass cultivation tools seem to use just as much power as the plough and still require subseguent passes before the crop is drilled

  • how do you get on with the solid beam plough (or dont ya have any hills?)

  • hills and valleys are fine. but if you get small but deep depressions that can cause a bit of a problem. We used to do a lot of contracting round Bedfordshire and neighbouring counties and I only ever had a problem once

  • we used to use those with pullpans to haul topsoil in the yards or clay to build building pads for new buildings

  • Riflerangefarm.

Plowed in June, Wheat in October.......Don't you have any crops the year you are plowing.

  • yea where as with the plough you need one pass for the plough 2nd for the cultivator and 3rd for planting if it was with disc you might run over the same land 5 or 6 times

  • lol. this is heavy clay. no way.. look at the beemster in nederland. than you know what heavy clay is :)

  • watch you tube

    endgame (whereistruth) #6

talks about the corridor going thru Mex,Tex,Canada - U.S. gov planning to fence off all rural areas to "rewild"

going to conficate all rural properties and give to foreign nations..Walling off all highways to purposely make "ghost towns" all people to live in cities.
