  • I was horrified at how this animal was handled. With a broken wing, the last thing you would do is pull it out of the cage like that. Where is the xray, where is the "qualified vet". These are not animals to play around with ...shut the box and do the right thing next time.

  • That was a profession animal doctor at the wild life park

  • Human kindness towards a wonderful bird. Thank you!

  • thank you so much it was sad he didnt make it but we did what we could,,,

  • ENABLE THE SONG, ASSHOLES OF WMG!

  • the rehab person handled the eagle properly. He grabbed the legs first, which have the most powerful weapons of the eagle, the talons. Its definitely a juvenile Bald Eagle, juvenile Goldens have black and white (very distinct markings) tail feathers and white feathers on their legs. Goldens also have the signature golden feathers on the back of their head and neck. I volunteer for a raptor rehab place, we get lots of eagles in all the time.

  • Nice song "freebird"

  • I did not find out if this fella survived? Thank you for sharing the documentation but I need some closure:0)

  • The first thing the vet should have done was to cover the bird's head. This is a standard practice to minimize the stress on the animal and to calm it down so it can be examined.

  • Also think of the bird as a child getting medical help, the kids would resist attention because they dont know any better.

  • Bald Eagles have white heads and white tails I thought? Well you guys could've kept the bird out of the cage if it was supervised. People can't be upset with him trying to get the bird out of the cage, it was just resisting because it doesn't know their there to help.

  • the bird was totally in shock from its injury, that is why it was so "docile". He was also totally stressed, which is why he was panting like he was. The kindest thing to do, would have been to cover the birds head with a light towel, they are much more relaxed when they can't see what is happening.

I know the good intent was here and I hope the bird made it.

  • draging the eagle out of the cage like that was just MEAN!
