@Intechdude300 Mine kind of shifts hard out of second to third. It winds to about 3.5k-4k until it'll shift. All other gears are fine though. I was wondering if that had something to do with it.

the guy filming sounds like hes having a coma or sumtin...............

hey I forgot to mention too it's a good thing I bought this car with a 1 year PT warranty on it eh heheheh I plan on driving it into the ground so they have to give me a rebuild for free I hope I don't get any stupid digital errors like I'm hearing alot of people end up with after rebuilding the tranny and installing it again... I also hope the sheister company upholds its warranty and doesn't somehow change its name within the next couple months and void it's contract with bankruptcy.

hah I see what you mean when you say theres just no room though we tried to fiddle with it but decided it was a bad idea cause everything is so damn tight my friend IS the connection haha he's a race certified technician that does hotrods and owns a mosport track in Toronto, Ontario Canada We run the streets around here :)

I mean I basically stressed it to its maximum tolerances, in limp mode and out, everything seems fine now... so I assume if it were going to break it would have done it on the track when I was screamin around like a bat outta hell for 8 hours last night I used $260 in gas!

@Intechdude300 yeah I avoided the cadillacs for those specific reasons and the fact that I see FAR too many of them around, and my conti is the only one I think I've seen in the past couple years so... Pro choice on the lincoln, It also runs so smooth now that I've exercised it for a week, I beat the shit out of it and its running strong , I checked the transmission fluid and I somehow burned it and used it up it 6 days but that's alot better than a thrown torque converter. LOVE it...

Deville, (DTS) , Seville, (STS) around any better nor cheaper to repair. On top of that, the Northstar isn't a great engine. They sound so sloppy throttling up, Head Gaskets, & notorious oil burners.
It's not so much the Transmission that pricey but the work. Theres just no room.
is the guy filming stoned or what?

Uh, No!!! All Continentals from 95-2002 have a DOHC 4.6 V8. A more powerful engine than the Town Car which in 2008 Tops at 239 HP with it's SOHC version ( On the Town Car).
95-98 Continentals had 260HP & 99-2002 had 275HP.
Do some research before making false assumptions.
