The Taliban seem relentless but not as hardcore as some. They could of just waited in the corn and sprang out about 5 meters from the troops and killed loads of em Japanese kamikaze style if they were prepared to die. In the documentaries I see they never attack in force. Would our intelligence forces make it impossible for a group of 100 or so to ambush a patrol?
