@p2breaker "Deficits don't matter", Cheney, blew billions on two unpaid for wars. Iraq, from the get-go, strengthened our greatest enemy, Iran, by removing their greatest enemy. Nine years later, they have just asked us to leave, to get their own country back. After Abu Gahrib, we are not exactly loved. It is time to leave. In Afghanistan, the smart thing is what Petraus is doing..negotiate...recommended earlier by the "Iraq Study Group", put together by daddy Bush, to save the inept W.

@Shargrailar The abswer is no. They cannot be dragged kicking and screaming into to a debate on the merits. They are like children aronnd political debate. They just name call their political opponents. They will almost always attack the person who asked the question rather than answer it. I would love to hear a well thought out counter-argument. I rarely hear it from a liberal.

It's amazing how dems whine and cry about Cheney criticizing the current administration but never gave a second thought about Carter and Clinton doing the same thing. Reagan, Bush sr, Ford, Nixon, and Bush jr never railed against any administartions after office. But when one republican former VP opens his mouth then it is utterly deplorable. Spare me your bitchin. The liberal guy was asked whether Cheney has a point and all he does is talk about the past instead of answering the question.
