This is me covering Dani California by the Red Hot Chili Peppers with my new guitar.

- Boss GT-8 (using the 4-cable method)
- Peavey Valveking 112
- Audix F-50 in front of the amp

I think that's a diminished 7th chord.

hey daan it was great!! i was planning to get an american deluxe as the one you have but i was thinking that the s1 switch would be too difficult to use, i just took a look at fender site buy i don't really understand the funtion of the s1, also the samarium cobalt pickups still retain that strat "quack" necessarily for rhcp/jimi purposes?? or it sounds a little diferent? sorry for the long comment nice guitar day!!

It is not difficult to use at all! On every position of the 5-way switch, you can engage the S1 switch to get 1 additional sound. So essentially you have twice the sounds.

I'm really happy with the SCN pickups. They seem to have more of a modern sound.
