Tom Delonge 2009 New Guitar

The new guitar Tom Delonge has been playing is a Baratto specially customised guitar, with a Dirty Fingers Pickup like the Gibson and Epiphone models, only without the neckplate and of course, the different shaped headstock. He has so far only the original Gibson colour, brown with cream stripes, black with cream stripes and a natural finished guitar, which may have just been a prototype.

Gibson doesn't make baratone guitars, used for lower tuning. He uses these guitars in songs like Adams song and Obvious, cause they are lower tuned

The Jazzmaster was such a nice guitar too, he uses it on the AOL sessions obvious video, looks and sounds the bomb. Thinking of getting a custom version from Warmoth!

he uses these because they are baritones, which gibson doesnt make. he used a jazzmaster style baritone in 03/04 and his orange baritone strat before that.

I own 2 TD Gibsons, one in the standard brown and another custom done liek his satin black and black gloss. Both look alot better than this thing in my opinion. Gibson has alot nicer curves, way better head stock, and without the pickup cover/plate on the body , it looks bare... like its missing sumthin.
