Ive lived in SF since 2004, and ive met/seen A LOT of so called "Giants fans" who know jack shit about the Giants, let alone baseball. Last WS 1988, i was chilling at hom with the baby sitter while my parents were at the games. i don't know how butler died, sorry (does that make me a bad fan). i do have a bret butler tshirt and autograph from when i was a kid. (am i just a stupid fan?)

im not bragging and im not a thug, but you say on "their turf" where is this exactly, outside ATT park, by the police station right after the game, with security everywhere ?  Go out to the real city and do that on "their turf" let's see what happens thats all im saying. and yea you can do that on mission street, depends what street tho. 10th thru 16th streets youll be fine. 19th thru 25th street good luck with that. up to you if u wana try.

i know more than you will ever know about baseball.  you remember brett butler? former giants leadoff man who then went on to be a Dodger? How did he die?
