WOW.....a german test picks the Golf......big surprise. Funniest part was where the guy actually tried to tell us that he was most comfortable in the back seat of the Golf.....eventhough his knees were actually touching the front seat.......both Koreans offered MUCH more space....biased much??

Sure the Golf is better! it is the best in the segment! But when it comes to value for money, no Germany car can beat the Koreans!

Would I get a golf over the other two? No. I personally find the golf seriously ugly. The i30 looks great, the ceed is well equipped.

Over all of them, I'd get a Pro_Ceed, and I did just that.

Surprise surprise. German test and the Golf wins.

Nothing against German cars here, but I purchased a new Ceed 1.4, 5 stars Euro NCAP, ABS, BAS, ESP, traction control, hill hold control, climatised glove compartment, electric mirrors and windows, computer, airco, usb aux cd/radio etc. bluetooth + audiocontrol from the steering wheel etc. etc. etc. Yes even seat heating!

For 12k.

Now find me a new Golf offered with all this for 12.000 EUR and THEN we can start comparing.

@Teeebs he didnt say, that Golf was the most comfortable regarding rearseats, he said it was hard and tough, but on the other hand nice for long trips. Nonetheless all tests from Auto Bild, Auto Motor & Sport and other german companies are always biased and choose VW or Audi as a winner.

What is wrong here? Ofcourse a the Golf wins in a German test, I have also tried a Golf and can only tell, that Hyundai is much better to drive in. More space and more confortable.
