Marc Methot of the Columbus blue Jackets has a dirty hit against Henrik Sedin of the Columbus Vancouver Canucks. He gets a 2 minute boarding penalty.

Swedes and Sedins dont get League Superstar Calls (Even though They both Have Won Scoring Titles and are Top of League Scorers)

If you've ever played hockey, and you get hit from behind without expecting it, doesn't matter hot "hard" the hit is. The problem with the sedins is that they never stay down or show that they are hurt. You can' t necessarily judge how bad a hit is based on how many shifts you miss... That's a problem too with nobodys like methot hitting a superstar when he's in a vulnerable position. what an idiot

Uh...Methot ended up going into the boards after hitting Sedin, that's not exactly a soft tap. I don't think many guys would drive their head into the boards to get a 2 minute penalty against a bottom six forward.
Who cares if he was on for the ensuing power play, look at the injuries people play with in the playoffs.

i don't see any embellishment, he goes down and gets right back up and skates it off. embellishment is more along the lines of mike ribiero. people say the sedins are soft, but time after time they get pummelled and keep playing the game. no oscar for sedin, but maybe methot can make a movie with sandra bullock called Blind Side 2 and get an oscar fot that!
