@Anotora Iron Chef (as in, the original Japanese) always had "non-professional" tasters in the panel, maybe one culinary critic. That's because part of the show is the experience of the guests sharing the meal, it's not all about competition.
Someone from the audience, likely a fan of the Iron Chef TV program, would fit perfectly with the way the Japanese ran it. If he likes good eating (not taking a dig at his girth, people in glasshouses...), he'd be a perfect fit for the tasting.

Why the hell did they bring out some random guido from the crowd to try and differentiate between a 4 1/2 and a 5 star chef?

I am replying to a comment made one year ago, but you're defending Bobby by saying he is young? The man is 36 years old in this video. How is that young? Loooooool.Σ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ

@iamthespaceship i like it, I'm right your wrong argument.
japanese or american, any professional cook who's worth anything knows to respect their food and equipment. that's only part of why bobby flay is trash. the other part is because his food is just crap. anyone who's in the industry understands what i mean. if your opinion is of otherwise, you dont know what you're talking about.
